Star Wars Battlefront Multiplayer Offline

Video: Star Wars Battlefront's offline multiplayer feels like the game's best addition yet. A game as mindless as Battlefront - and I mean that politely, because Star Wars Battlefront is the best kind of mindless - is the perfect backdrop for just hanging out and talking nonsense, letting all the spectacle that DICE has eked from the cinematic universe wash over you.

this was an option in the original games. this was what kept many people engaged in the franchise between the time (10 yrs) they came out last and the new version.
that engagement helped people get excited for your new version.
plants vs zombies 2 proved that offline multiplayer can be popular.
this is why i propose that you have all maps work in skirmish mode similarly to instant action from the original games.

We NEED Offline Galactic Assault (Where the objectives are suitable for the AI and where the ENTIRE large scale maps are utilized by both the player and AI), Vehicle AI to fight against in large scale battles offline, and of course SA Offline.

I think it just adds more replayability to a game. Which adds value. Can't be a bad thing.

What is the difference between offline multiplayer and skirmish? Or is it the same thing, just the same content as online?

offline multiplayer is literally the multiplayer modes playable with just bots, so imagine essentially a pve version of walker assault etc.
Skirmish was the name DICE decided to give their version of Offline Multiplayer. They couldnt name it instant action like the original Pandemic games probably due to legal issues.
But Skirmish was a little lacking, we appreciated it sure, but it lacked a way to unlock stuff or carry over progression from multiplayer, plus the AI wasnt amazing either and we couldnt utilise DLC maps / modes.
We're hoping for an improvement this time! ^^ If you support this idea come check out our group; SoloPlayersMatter
