so i had the base game on gog but decided to buy on steam since there was a sale and wanted to play the expansions.
Used the base game files in steam install and the download was shorter,didnt download blood and wine and hearts of stone just yet ,because i wanted to check if my gog saves work with this ,so i just installed the base game + checked all the 16 free dlcs .
started the game and tried the old save and a box came up telling me i had dlcs missing ,these were the dlcs i have checked in steam and they installed there and to top it all there is no dlc tab showing in menu??
anyone has an idea wats happening here??

As far as I know if you have the base game here you need to buy the DLCs here, the Steam ones won't work with the Gog game.

nvm fixed it ,i suspected it was something with the exe and deleted bin folder ,steam redownloaded and sure enough that was it.
