• Fallout 3 Nexus Crash Fix

Avoiding frequent game crashes. We are assuming that you already have the installation file of Fallout 3 at hand. Install Fallout 3 normally in your C drive. After Installation launch Fallout 3 and press the Play icon. If your game is crashing when you click play, you should update Games for Windows Live from here. Fallout 3 crashing or crashing to desktop or crashing at the start of the game: - Go to the ffdshow folder. Click Audio decoder configuration. In the left hand pane, click Info & debug or DirectShow control (This is the second entry in the list). However, while Fallout startup went swimmingly prior to FOSE (Fose-requiring mods and all), now start-up results in a black screen and a crash, and this is when using FOSE loader or Fallout 3 launcher.

Fallout 3 Nexus Crash Fix

yo; so I'm pretty new to Reddit as a whole so I'm not entirely sure if this is the appropriate place to post this. anyhow, basically, for as long as I've owned F3, on every pc and os I've tried it on (which is win 7, 8 and 8.1) I always get either a crash on startup or a crash soon after loading into the game. I've tried a bunch of fixes including one involving a .dll & adding a line to the falloutdefault file and running in XP compatibility mode none of them have worked. Anyone else had this issue?
