Skyrim Special Edition Cbbe Body
The stock Skyrim bodies are okay-just okay. There is room for improvement. And that's exactly what this author thought. This mod replaces the vanilla female body with something a little more 'interesting'. There are three nude and three underwear options to choose from. It also supports 'BodySlide'. Credits: Ousnius and Caliente. CBBE and UNP UV mapping is different so there will be texture bugs when using a UNP body texture with CBBE armor or vice versa. These include weird stretching and a see-through gap in the genitals. If the armor does not show skin, you won't see this. UNP and CBBE have about the same number of polies. Body Conversions for Skyrim Using BodySlide, Outfit Studio. Having the armbands a distinct inventory item, instead of part of the top, would make the conversion easier, but we have choices on dealing with them. I’m working with the CBBE body reference (works for Slim or Curvy) and adding the bones for BBP (HDT) later.

Description:
CBBE replaces the vanilla female body that all adult female characters (player and NPC) share, with one that is fully customisable with the BodySlide tool and BodySlide's RaceMenu Morphs plugin. By default there are three nude options available that don't require anything but installation, as well as three underwear styles for these body shapes.
The body mesh is a completely custom mesh, at more than double the resolution of the vanilla Skyrim body. Included are completely custom textures made from photographs of real women, and a reworked high-res normal map to fit the body. Also redone are the mesh weights for animation, offering improved deformation in many poses.

What does everyone use for CBBE as far as outfits? As far as I can tell while using Bodyslide the CBBE body comes with meshes that are basically fitted to the body itself. The most basic vanilla outfits seem ok, but it gets kinda horrifying if you look at the Dawnguard DLC stuff. So far the only full conversion I'm seeing on Nexus is https://www.nexusmod..tion/mods/13274 from luquitacx and while it does look better there are open seams on some outfits. I haven't built those outfits and actually looked at them in game, but I can only assume that a hole in Bodyslide is going to look like a hole in game. Otherwise I'm left with two (?) skimpy/bikini style armor replacers and I wasn't really looking for that. I'll be honest, I'm fairly blown away by contrast with TBD and the apparently full conversion they bundled with their body. In Bodyslide there weren't angular boob plates for Dawnguard armors. So what does everyone use? Does everyone just download custom armors and ignore the NPC's that still have vanilla outfits?
